A night at the Hasti lean-to in the woods (for 1–4 people) is an experience that’s perfect even for novice outdoor enthusiasts. Pets are welcome. Reserved for your private use.
Upon arrival, you will be guided to the lean-to. You can bring your own camping gear or rent equipment with advance reservation.
Experience a wilderness-style overnight stay in a lean-to in the forest near the 300-year-old Tuukkala farm, 25 kilometers from Mikkeli. The traditional lean-to is located in the heart of pristine Finnish nature, yet close to a road.
The Hastin lean-to features a fire pit equipped with firewood, a coffee pot, and a cast-iron skillet for self-catering. Assistance with starting a fire is available if needed. During forest fire warnings, we do not build open fires. In that case, a gas stove is available. Mosquito nets ensure a good night’s sleep by keeping those little friends at bay. There is an outhouse near the lean-to.
The kitchen and bathroom facilities at the Tuukkala farm apartment are available for use; they are one kilometer from the lean-to.
